Talisker 9 Year Old Whisky Hand Filled Rejuvenated Red Wine Cask 59.8%

An intriguing 9 year old Talisker here that was hand filled at the distillery. The influence of the rejuvenated red wine casks really shines through especially when bottled at a cask strength of 59.8% intensifying the flavours. Maritime and red fruit aromas are followed by grape, red berry, peat, spice and earthy flavours. The long finish is fruity again with spice and a great smokiness.
