The Talisker 30 year old from Diageo's Special Releases was an annual highlight in the whisky calendar back in the day. This 2010 edition is up there with the best Taliskers: a very complex profile filled with smoky pebble notes, blindingly thick coastal complexity and aged peppery peat oiliness. Beautiful whisky by any standards.
