Distilled at Tormore in 2016 and matured for nine years before being bottled in 2026 by James Gordon & Co. (Gordon & MacPhail) for their Spirit of Scotland range.
This single cask Speyside whisky was matured in a refill Bourbon barrel, cask number 76, and specially selected by Stuart Urquhart. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 63.7% ABV, the cask yielded just 242 bottles.
Tormore was founded in 1958 and was one of the first new Scotch whisky distilleries to be built in the 20th century. Its spirit is typically associated with a light, fruity Speyside character, making Bourbon cask maturation particularly well suited to showcasing the distillery's natural style.
