A 1997 Tormore bottled in 2014 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseur's Choice range. Bottled at a perfect drinking strength of 46% there's a surprisingly beefy, muscular edge to this often quite shy Speysider. Lots of spices, buttery richness and some jammy fruit notes to boot. Very quaffable and satisfying.
