A Torabhaig Allt Gleann, The Legacy Series 2nd edition from the Isle of Skye. This heavily peated whisky was drawn from small batches of no more than thirty bourbon barrels. Although made with barley malted to a phenol level of 77PPM this whisky has well tempered peat that never dominates but compliments the other delicious flavours. There’s a great maritime character with hints of lemon zest, heather, pepper spice and a nuttiness too. A limited edition whisky with real depth of flavour.
