Tomatin 21 year old single malt is matured solely in exclusive 1st fill ex-bourbon casks.

This addition to our travel exclusive whiskies features warm flavours of fresh croissant, apple and honey balance perfectly with aromas of soft tropical fruits, resulting in a buttery, creamy finish.

Tasting Notes:

Nose:

The influence of full maturation in ex bourbon barrels is immediately obvious. Lashings of vanilla, coconut and caramel leap out of the glass with a pleasant level of oak spice. Settling in time, notes of baked apples and citrus emerge along with a soft floral aroma.  

Taste:

Delicious; notes of apple crumble, freshly baked croissants and Manuka honey give a sweet, warming base from which ginger, clove and star anise add layers of spice to.   

Finish:

Long, fruity and buttery.
