Tamdhu Dalbeallie 06 Sherry Cask Matured Single Malt Whisky 60%

This limited edition Tamdhu is the sixth bottling in the Collector’s Journey series. The Dalbeallie Dram was named in honour of the local train station where casks arrived for Tamdhu’s whisky production. Only 1000 bottles of this delicious whisky were released after as always, maturing exclusively in sherry oak casks.   

Aromas of enticing sticky toffee pudding with toasted almonds and lashings of zesty orange peel await. The palate gives, velvety stewed plums, with cranberries and a cinnamon warmth. Hints of vanilla fudge come through bringing a decadent edge. The finish has a long rich mouthful with soft spice, unmistakably rich sherry notes and enticing dried fruits.
