Another premium example of the increasingly scarce St Magdalene distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2013 by Gordon & MacPhail under their Rare Old label at 46%. Typically full of coal smoke, herbs, oils, citrus fruits, light grassy notes, cereal and touches of wax. Another little hymn to the sadly lost St Magdalene.
