Springbank 5 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 100 Proof Release 57.1%

The release of the Springbank 5 Year Old 100 Proof is a welcome return to the legendary 100 proof releases from the 2000's.

This youthful new core range whisky allows the sampling of Springbank without the more usual sherry cask influence. Fully matured in ex-bourbon casks there’s the signature oily texture with a great creamy sweetness. Notes of icing sugar and white chocolate are balanced with flavours akin to tomato plant, sunflower seeds and linseed oil. A lively, robust, slightly peated and well balanced whisky with remarkable depth for its age.
