Scallywag Small Batch Release is a Speyside blended malt Scotch whisky from independent bottler Douglas Laing, bringing together single malts from across the region, including whiskies distilled at Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes.

Named after a long line of Douglas Laing family Fox Terriers, Scallywag is matured predominantly in Spanish sherry butts, giving the whisky its characteristically rich, fruity and spiced style. Bottled at 46% ABV, it is produced in small batches without chill filtration or added colouring.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes describe a richly spiced character on the nose, woven into delicious vanilla. The palate brings layer upon layer of sweet stewed fruits and dark chocolate fused with nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish displays a burst of zesty orange with fresh ginger, cocoa and rich fruitcake.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone!
