Rock Island 10 Year Old is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing, combining single malts from Scotland's whisky islands, including Islay, Jura, Arran and Orkney, to create the maritime character associated with the Rock Island range.

Matured for a minimum of 10 years, this small batch release is bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration, in keeping with Douglas Laing's approach of presenting its whiskies "as natural as it gets".

The Rock Island range was originally known as Rock Oyster before being renamed in 2019 and forms part of Douglas Laing's Remarkable Regional Malts collection.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes describe a barley-rich and buttery nose, developing to wave-soaked rocks with gentle peat smoke and citrus fruits. The palate brings sea spray, black pepper and damp ash, followed by a long finish of wood embers, orange peel and gentle spice.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone!
