Riazuleño Mezcal Contemporaneo

Riazuleño Mezcal Contemporaneo is a joven Espadín mezcal crafted from 100% Espadín agave — the piñas cooked up to three days in conical pits with hot volcanic rocks, covered to hold in the smoke, producing an intensely flavorful spirit with notes of ripe tropical fruit, sweet agave, and smoke.

The underground pit-roasting over volcanic rock is the source of the mezcal's signature smokiness. Bright notes of green apple and roasted agave appear on the slightly sweet palate, merging with cinnamon, wet stone, and mineral character.
