Port Charlotte OLC: 01 2010 55.1%

A heavily peated Port Charlotte from Bruichladdich distillery bottled as part of their Cask Exploration series of whiskies. 

OLC:01 was distilled in 2010 then matured in bourbon, Syrah and vin roux natural casks. The whisky was married then transferred for an 18 month finishing period in Oloroso sherry hogsheads. There’s a complex character to this special limited edition whisky with rich dried fruits and chocolate notes balancing with fragrant peat smoke. An Islay whisky offering of great depth not to be missed.
