An Old Pulteney 11 year old release by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society named 'Saltwater Symphony.
Distilled 27th of August 2013 the spirit rested in a first fill ex-bourbon barrel for 11 years before bottling at 55.7% abv.
This whisky has a great oily, coastal character and described on the bottle as 'Sea breezes, oilskins, fishing boats and crabs; apple turnover, peanut brittle and sugared almonds; tea chests, balsamic and black pepper.'
An outturn of just 232 bottles.
