New Holland Beer Barrel Rye is a beer-barrel-finished rye whiskey from New Holland Brewing Company’s Artisan Spirits division — a rye whiskey finished in barrels that previously held New Holland’s Dragon’s Milk stout, drawing the brewer’s craft directly into the whiskey for a distinctive beer-inspired character.

New Holland Artisan Spirits, founded in 2006 as a branch of New Holland Brewing Company (est. 1997), bases its distilling and aging methods on the techniques and philosophies developed through its experience as craft brewers. The Beer Barrel line is the clearest expression of that crossover — whiskey rested in the brewery’s own used beer barrels.
