A 15-year-old Mortlach bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of their long-running Distillery Labels range.

Gordon & MacPhail has worked with spirit from Mortlach for generations, maturing selected casks at its own warehouses in Elgin before bottling them under the distinctive Distillery Labels presentation. The range takes its inspiration from historic distillery-labelled bottlings produced by Gordon & MacPhail during the 20th century.

Mortlach is particularly notable for its unusual distillation regime, often described as 2.81 times distillation. Using six stills of differing shapes and sizes, including the small spirit still known as the "Wee Witchie", the process produces the weighty, robust character for which Mortlach has become known.

This 15 Year Old was matured in oak casks and bottled at 46% ABV, a higher strength that suits Mortlach's naturally full-bodied style.
