Macphail's 30 Year Old Gordon Macphail 46%

The distillery origin of this exceptional 30 year old single malt is a closely guarded secret. The casks were produced to Gordon & MacPhail's exact specifications, and deliver a complex, rich and elegant whisky with sweet sherry influences - and an intriguing air of mystery. 

Stewed fruits and crisp apple open on the nose, layered with roasted nuts, honeycomb, and a whisper of chocolate, with dried apricot adding a gentle sweetness. On the palate, an initial spice gives way to a lush medley of blackberry, raspberry, and apple, before milk chocolate, tangerine, and oak emerge. The finish is medium in length, leaving a cooling hint of menthol and a lingering warmth of cocoa.
