Macduff 2006 17 Year Old Bourbon Barrel 54.4%

This well aged Highland whisky from Macduff was released by independent bottler Cadenhead’s for their Authentic Collection. Distilled in 2006 the spirit rested for 17 years in a single bourbon barrel before being bottled at 54.4% abv. One of just 156 bottles. 

Featured here are notes of candy floss, parma violets, chocolate sauce and a touch of nuttiness to round things off.
