Macallan Lumina is the second release in Macallan's acclaimed Quest Collection, a travel retail exclusive series that explores the influence of oak on the distillery's celebrated single malt. Created exclusively for Macallan Airport Boutiques and Global Travel Retail, Lumina showcases a carefully balanced marriage of European and American oak sherry-seasoned casks, producing a whisky that bridges traditional Macallan richness with a brighter, more vibrant style.

Bottled at 41.3% ABV, Macallan Lumina is matured in three different types of oak cask, combining European oak sherry-seasoned casks with two styles of American oak sherry-seasoned casks. The result is a wonderfully approachable yet characterful single malt, offering layers of creamy vanilla, sweet ginger, cinnamon, orchard fruits and gentle wood spices, all wrapped in the signature dried fruit richness for which The Macallan is renowned.

Colour: Harvest gold.

Nose: Citrus fruits, open softly. Apple and pear lead to lemon zest, toffee and oak.

Palate: Wood spices and ginger soften to fresh apples, sweet vanilla and soft oak tones.

Finish: Good length. Warming fruit and spices. Soft and dry.
