Macallan Rare Cask is assembled from a selection of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks chosen for their rich colour and character, delivering the distillery’s classic combination of dried fruit, spice and oak. Positioned above Macallan’s standard age-stated range, Rare Cask offers a more luxurious expression of the distillery’s sherry-led house style without venturing into the increasingly expensive territory of its prestige and limited-edition bottlings.

The 2021 Release is an attractive example from the earlier years of the Rare Cask series and remains a popular choice with Macallan drinkers and collectors alike.
