Low Gap Rye Whiskey is a 100% malted rye whiskey from the Germain-Robin team in Ukiah, California — full rye body, with the roughness common to most ryes tamed by the small Cognac pot still used for double distillation. Fabulous.

Low Gap takes the same Charentais-style pot still discipline that Germain-Robin built its reputation on in California brandy and applies it to whiskey. Double distillation in the small Cognac potstill softens the assertive rye grain into a more refined, integrated profile while keeping the full rye body and spice character intact.
