Lochlea 2020 6 Year Old Single Malt Whisky Thompson Bros 57.1%

An excellent single cask bottling, courtesy of the Thompson Bros. Distilled in 2020 and matured for 6 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel. This whisky offers the signature fruity flavours one would expect from a Lowland Scotch such as Lochlea. On the nose there are notes of brioche, pears, peaches, and vanilla custard, leading to flavours of fruit candies, melons, and brioche on the palate.
