This Living Souls Ninety-Nine & One's name refers to the blend recipe, which is 99% 18-year-old single malt whisky and 1% three-year-old grain whisky. The malt itself was a heavily-peated Island single malt whisky that had been matured for 16 years in refill bourbon casks and hogsheads before a two year period finishing in sherry casks, so this really looks like a snip.
