The 2023 edition of Laphroaig 25-year-old Cask Strength Islay single malt whisky, which was first introduced at cask strength in 2008 after a rather elegant 40% iteration launched the previous year had been criticised for being too gentle, and a runaway success ever since.

Bottled at a natural cask strength of 47.3% this 2023 release of Laphroaig 25-year-old is a rich, fully mature Islay single malt, with gentle phenols, soft but intense oak and a delightful coastal and exotic fruit profile.
