A 2000 14 year old Laphroaig matured in a refill barrel and bottled in 2014 by Hunter Laing for their Old Malt Cask range. These refill wood indy Laphroaigs are always a welcome treat. The lighter wood profile really lets the great distillate shine through. Fantastic, ashy, briny, medicinal stuff.
