Laphroaig 18 Year Old Whisky XOP Douglas Laing 52.9%

A 2000 vintage Laphroaig by independent bottler Douglas Laing bottled for the Xtra Old Particular series. This superb bottling was aged for 18 years in a single refill hogshead #DL12780 before being filled in August 2018. The palate offers notes of smoked meat, burnt buttery toast, charred oak, and a saltiness balanced by vanilla sweetness. Each bottle comes individually numbered and is one of just 299 that were hand filled.
