Kilkerran 8 Year Old Single Malt Whisky Bourbon Cask Matured 57.7%

Kilkerran 8 year old is a great cask strength whisky released in 2026 from Glengyle distillery. This limited batch single malt spent 8 years maturing in bourbon casks before bottling at a robust 57.7% abv.

Kilkerran’s oily and coastal style is a great match for bourbon aging giving a creamy, rounded character to the spirit. Expect aromas of butterscotch and custard creams leading to apple butter, cream sponge and a poached pear sweetness. The creamy palate has flavours of shortbread crust, smooth caramel chocolate with higher notes of gooseberries, white grapes. There's a developing cigar box smoke to savour and enjoy.
