Kilkerran 12 Year Old 2024 Release 46%

A slightly peated Kilkerran from Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown on the Kintyre Peninsula. 

This 12 year old was aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Bottling was in 2024 at 46% abv. The whisky is beautifully balanced between delicate smoke and a fruity sweetness. There’s notes of butterscotch, vanilla, citrus and orange peel with hints of peat. 

A great introduction to the Kilkerran range.
