Jura 2012 | 10 Year Old Douglas Laing Premier Barrel Single Cask
Beskrivning
Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46%
Distilled at Jura in 2012 and matured for 10 years before being bottled by Douglas Laing for their Premier Barrel range.
This Highland single malt was drawn from a single cask and bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring. The release was limited to just 342 individually numbered ceramic decanters.
Douglas Laing's Premier Barrel range takes inspiration from the traditional ceramic whisky decanters of the Victorian era, with each small-batch or single-cask release presented in a distinctive handmade ceramic bottle.
Jura's distillery occupies a particularly remote setting on the Isle of Jura, where it is the island's only whisky distillery. The present distillery was rebuilt in the early 1960s, with unusually tall stills designed to encourage greater reflux during distillation, helping to produce a comparatively light and refined new-make spirit.
Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
