Distilled and matured at Midleton Distillery in County Cork—the home of Jameson since Irish Distillers consolidated production there in 1975—this expression was bottled at 43% ABV in the larger 1 litre format. Matured for a minimum of 12 years, it combines carefully selected pot still and grain whiskeys to create a richer, more complex style than the standard Jameson blend of the era.

Produced at Midleton alongside celebrated Irish whiskeys including Redbreast, Powers, Green Spot and Midleton Very Rare, Jameson Special Reserve showcased the exceptional quality of the distillery's triple-distilled spirit and the benefits of longer maturation.
