Inchmurrin 2013 13 Year Old Single Malt Whisky Thompson Bros Release 52.2%

A 13 year old Inchmurrin, the fruit forward, unpeated expression distilled at Loch Lomond's straight-neck stills. Distilled in 2013 this Thompson Bros release brings together two casks, a re-fill barrel and an Oloroso sherry hogshead. The bright, fruity new-make character is married with the added depth of sherry influence. 

On the nose there is of overripe peach, white strawberry, freshly opened salted peanuts, green apple and sultanas, with a touch of salinity balancing the sweetness. The palate brings strawberry laces, apricot, hazelnut, lime and cashew, while the finish turns fruity and nutty with the Oloroso lending real depth. 

Bottled in 2026 at 52.2% abv, non-chill filtered and natural colour. There was an outturn of 553 bottles.
