Inchgower 2014 | 8 Year Old Douglas Laing Premier Barrel Single Cask
Beskrivning
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46%
Distilled at Inchgower in 2014 and matured for 8 years before being bottled by Douglas Laing for their Premier Barrel range.
This Speyside single malt was drawn from a single cask and bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring. The release was limited to just 381 individually numbered ceramic decanters.
Douglas Laing's Premier Barrel range takes inspiration from the traditional ceramic whisky decanters of the Victorian era, with each small-batch or single-cask release presented in a distinctive handmade ceramic bottle.
Inchgower was established in 1871 near the coastal town of Buckie, replacing the earlier Tochineal distillery. Although relatively little Inchgower is released as a distillery bottling, its whisky has long been an important component of blended Scotch, making independently bottled single malts such as this a useful opportunity to explore the distillery's character in its own right.
Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
