Distilled at Highland Park in 2007 and matured for 17 years before being bottled in 2025 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range.

This single cask Island whisky was matured in a first-fill Sherry butt, cask number 5358, and bottled on 3rd June 2025 at a natural cask strength of 59.9% ABV. Bottled without chill filtration and with natural colour, this was released as a UK Exclusive with an outturn of 606 bottles.

Highland Park's location in Kirkwall on Orkney gives it one of the most distinctive traditional production stories in Scotch whisky. The distillery continues to use a proportion of locally cut Orkney peat for its malt, with the islands' largely treeless landscape producing peat rich in heather and other low-growing vegetation. This contributes to the aromatic, heathery smoke commonly associated with Highland Park's spirit.

Gordon & MacPhail's tasting notes describe fragrant raisin with peanuts and tangerine peel, followed by apple, raspberry, fudge and a hint of coffee bean, leading to a medium-length finish with lingering spice.
