Highland Park 17 Year Old Between You and I: Journeys by Björn Frantzén Michelin Star Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL

This 17-year-old single malt, a travel-retail exclusive edition released in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Björn Frantzén, is sure to take you places. We’d describe it as rich, fruity and delightfully complex, with a pronounced influence of first-fill French Oak wine casks. 

Meet Björn. Ex-professional footballer, restaurateur and the only chef in the world to hold three Michelin stars at three restaurants simultaneously. He was the first person to taste Between You and I: Journeys, and its complex layers of flavour sparked memories of his wide travels across the globe in search of culinary inspiration.

This expression is led by first-fill French oak casks seasoned with red wine which bring a distinctly jammy depth to the whisky. These are complemented by the smooth vanilla notes of American sherry-seasoned oak, all rounded out with refill casks. The results are rich, fruity and beautifully balanced.
