Distilled at Glenturret in 2007 and matured for 18 years before being bottled in 2025 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range.

This single cask Highland whisky was matured in a first-fill Sherry hogshead, cask number 22606703, and bottled on 4th November 2025 at a natural cask strength of 59.8% ABV. Released as a UK Exclusive, the cask yielded just 320 bottles. It was bottled without chill filtration and with natural colour.

Glenturret uses unusually long fermentation times, helping to develop the fruity character of its new make spirit before distillation. The distillery also remains relatively small by modern Scotch whisky standards, making older independently bottled single casks particularly interesting alongside its increasingly prominent official releases.

Gordon & MacPhail's tasting notes describe cinnamon and ginger alongside milk chocolate, followed by rich spiced fruit, plum, charred oak and citrus, with red berries and black pepper on the finish.
