Glentauchers 2009 16 Year Old 100 Proof Exceptional Release #11 57.1%

Introducing a 100 Proof Edition #11 Exceptional Cask Glentauchers from Signatory Vintage.

This bottling is a real treat with its 16 years ageing in first fill Oloroso sherry butts. The lengthy maturation period has imparted a layers of great flavour with warming spices, rich dried fruits, caramel, dark chocolate and hints of toasted oak. 

Bottling was at the traditional imperial strength of 57.1% abv adding to the intensity of flavour. The release is of course un-chill filtered with no added colour.
