This 14-year-old Glenlivet 2004 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration as Batch 19/105, maturing in a refill bourbon barrel that yielded just 162 bottles at an absolutely whopping natural cask strength of 64%, so you'll likely benefit from keeping the water jug close to hand. Indie Glenlivets are extremely rare and generally very good drams, and this one is terrific.

Nose: Vanilla and fresh herbs.
Palate: Milk chocolate, peach, and almond come to the fore with undertones of custard.
Finish: Long, sweet and nutty.
