An older bottling of Glengoyne 21 Year Old Highland single malt whisky, bottled in 2013 and matured exclusively in hand-selected sherry casks.

Glengoyne is renowned for its unpeated spirit and deliberately slow distillation, producing a soft, fruity new make particularly well suited to long maturation in sherry casks. By 21 years old, the distillery's elegant character has developed considerable richness, with the sherry casks bringing layers of dried fruit, honey, spice and mature oak.

Bottled in 2013, the youngest whisky in this Glengoyne 21 Year Old will therefore have been distilled no later than 1992. A lovely example of long-aged, traditionally sherry-matured Glengoyne from stocks distilled more than three decades ago.
