A landmark release from one of Speyside's most celebrated distilleries, this Glenfiddich Centenary bottling was produced to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the distillery founded by William Grant in 1887. Uniquely, the whisky was filled and sealed on Christmas Day 1986, exactly 99 years after the first spirit flowed from Glenfiddich's stills on Christmas Day 1887, before being released during the distillery's centenary celebrations in 1987.

Limited to 12,000 bottles, this special edition was presented in an elegant black hinged presentation case with gold detailing, underscoring the significance of the occasion. At the time, 12,000 bottles represented a generous commemorative release, but nearly four decades later surviving examples have become increasingly difficult to find.

The whisky captures the classic Glenfiddich house style of the era and marks a pivotal moment in the history of one of Scotland's most influential single malt distilleries.
