A 43 year old Glenfarclas matured full term in Cognac casks. This is a rich, raisin laden, nutty, sweet dram filled with dark, stewed fruit notes, compotes and lovely wood spice notes. A great and intriguing dram that manages to balance something classically Glenfarclas with something a little different.
