A superb Glenfarclas 40-year-old Speyside single malt Warehouse Edition bottled in 2020 at 43% from whisky distilled around 1980 or earlier.

Selected from some of Glenfarclas’s oldest stocks, this 40-year-old reflects the distillery’s traditional sherry-cask maturation and the rich, mature style for which long-aged Glenfarclas is renowned. The whisky was selected by George S. Grant, the sixth generation of the Grant family, who have owned Glenfarclas since 1865.

This 2020 edition is presented in a distinctive red wooden case inspired by the doors of Glenfarclas’s traditional warehouses, making it an impressive presentation of one of the distillery’s oldest regularly released expressions.
