Distilled at Glenburgie in 2008 and matured for 16 years before being bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range.

This single cask Speyside whisky was matured in a refill Bourbon barrel, cask number 17602107, and bottled on 14th August 2024 at a natural cask strength of 58.9% ABV. Bottled without chill filtration and with natural colour. Released as a UK Exclusive, the cask yielded just 226 bottles.

Glenburgie's history includes several periods of reconstruction, most significantly in 2004 when the distillery was extensively rebuilt with new stills while retaining its traditional production approach. Today it operates with six stills, producing a fruity Speyside spirit particularly associated with the Ballantine's range of blended Scotch whiskies.

Gordon & MacPhail's tasting notes describe lemon and crystallised violet aromas leading to vanilla pod, creamy pineapple and passion fruit, followed by mixed nuts, with lingering fruit and oak on the finish.
