Distilled at Glenburgie on 5th September 1995 and matured for 30 years before being bottled on 24th June 2026 by Signatory Vintage for their Symington's Choice range.

Symington's Choice is a range personally selected by Signatory Vintage founder Andrew Symington, generally focusing on well-aged single malts chosen from the company's extensive stocks at Pitlochry.

This Speyside single malt was finished in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead, cask number 105, and bottled at a natural cask strength of 51.0% ABV. The release was limited to just 331 individually numbered bottles.

Glenburgie has long been an important component of Ballantine's blended Scotch, and much of the distillery's production continues to be reserved for blending. Its spirit is produced using six stills fitted with purifier pipes, which return heavier vapours to the still for further distillation and contribute towards the lighter, fruit-led character associated with Glenburgie.

August 2026 saw Signatory Vintage release four 30 year old Glenburgie single casks as part of the Symington's Choice range, each showcasing a different style of sherry cask finish: Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, Palo Cortado and Amontillado. Distilled in 1995 and matured for three decades, the four releases offer a fascinating opportunity to explore how these contrasting sherry cask styles can shape the same beautifully matured Glenburgie spirit, from the richer influence of Oloroso and PX to the more delicate, nutty and aromatic character associated with Palo Cortado and Amontillado.
