Glenallachie 9 Year Old Amontillado Sherry Cask Finish 48%

After an initial maturation period in ex-bourbon barrels, this fruity Speyside malt was finished Amontillado casks. The result is a dram with stewed fruit and layers of toasted nuts. You can expect notes of plum and poached pears, leading to creme brulee and honey roasted cashews on the palate.
