This single cask Speyside whisky was matured in a refill Bourbon barrel, cask number 16601503, and bottled on 31st October 2024 at a natural cask strength of 55.5% ABV. Bottled without chill filtration and with natural colour, this UK Exclusive release yielded just 232 bottles.

Established in Rothes in 1878, Glen Spey is unusual in using purifiers on its spirit stills, encouraging additional reflux during distillation and contributing to the distillery's lighter style of spirit. Glen Spey is rarely bottled as a proprietary single malt, making independent releases such as this one of the main ways to explore the distillery's character.

Gordon & MacPhail's tasting notes describe lemon and honeysuckle aromas with roasted peanuts and orange, followed by tropical fruit, butterscotch, black pepper and charred oak, with pineapple and soft aniseed on the finish.
