Glen Moray 2015 First Fill Fino Single Cask Whisky #638 58.8%

A cracking new arrival here is the Glen Moray 1st fill Fino sherry single cask whisky. Filled in 2015 before resting in this ex-dry sherry cask for 11 years until bottling in 2026 at a cask strength of 58.8% abv. 

Glen Moray has been crafting whisky on the banks of the River Lossie since 1897. Today it's known for experiments with cask finishing, and this single cask release is a perfect example of their commitment to this cask experimentation. Fino is the driest, most delicate style of sherry giving this whisky lifted orchard fruit, toasted almonds, a whisper of sea salt and a lovely briney, nutty complexity that's rare in a Speyside malt.

This is a limited bottling and when it’s gone it’s gone. Perfect for fans of sherry cask whisky looking to explore a dryer more complex style.
