Distilled at Glen Grant in 2009 and matured for 16 years before being bottled in 2025 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range.

This single cask Speyside whisky was matured in a refill Sherry hogshead, cask number 900933, and bottled on 8th October 2025 at a natural cask strength of 56% ABV. Bottled without chill filtration and with natural colour. Released as a UK Exclusive, the cask yielded just 261 bottles.

Glen Grant's distinctive distillery character owes much to the influence of James 'The Major' Grant, who introduced unusually tall, slender stills and water-cooling purifiers designed to encourage greater reflux during distillation. The resulting lighter, fruit-driven spirit has made Glen Grant particularly well suited to long maturation.

Gordon & MacPhail's tasting notes describe raspberry liqueur and Morello cherry alongside lavender, followed by bergamot, orange and prune, with blackcurrant and spice on the finish.
