Glen Garioch 27 Year Old 2nd Fill Ex Bourbon Chorlton Whisky 58.2%

A well aged 27 year old Glen Garioch release here by Chorlton Whisky. This single malt described as a ‘boisterous old Garioch’ was matured in a second-fill barrel. The cask produced just 167 bottles at a cask strength of 58.2% abv.

Fascinating and complicated the palate is bold, waxy and slightly tarry. There’s notes of lemon drops, eucalyptus, peach crumble and resin that develop into dark chocolate and green fruits! A dram to savour and enjoy for its complex and layered flavour profile.
