A single cask Glen Garioch distilled in February 2013 and bottled by Douglas Laing in September 2022 for The Speakeasy series. Matured for nine years in a refill barrel, cask DL16080 was bottled at its natural cask strength of 53.5%, with a total outturn of just 179 bottles.

The Speakeasy was a limited series from Douglas Laing, with each release drawn from a single cask and presented at natural strength without chill filtration. This Glen Garioch yielded just 179 bottles.

Glen Garioch is one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland, established in Oldmeldrum in the eastern Highlands in 1797. The distillery traditionally produces a robust, malty style of Highland single malt, making refill cask maturation particularly well suited to showcasing the character of the spirit.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone!
