This 15 year old forms the first part of the Glen Garioch Renaissance series, a run of 4 different bottlings up to 18 years of age designed to showcase the development of the Glen Garioch house style as the distillate ages. An excellent and robust dram, this shows lots of gingery spice, touches of wood smoke, herbaceous qualities and some plush garden fruit notes. Excellent whisky yet again from Glen Garioch.
